My teaching philosophy is to enable students to solve real-life problems through a combination of operations knowledge, software, and math. The combined application of these three skills is required to tackle complex problems: Drawing on operations or topical expertise helps to frame a problem and to break it into its components. Software is required to extract the pertinent information from the data to inform a solution, while understanding the underlying math helps to ensure accuracy and accountability.
I am particularly interested in teaching the areas of (i) Sustainable Operations, (ii) Supply Chain Management, and (iii) Business Analytics. With work experience in industries ranging from investment banking to automotive manufacturing and fintech startups, I like to draw on a diverse array of examples in my teaching and tailor course contents to the target student audience.
